Emergency services are open and available 24/7, 7 days a week at Mian Muhammad Bakhsh Hospital, Jhelum. Our emergency department is well equipped with an adequate number of cardiac monitors, defibrillators, and other important equipment including ventilators and a dedicated ultrasound machine. The Emergency Services department is a very high activity area of the hospital and so has senior consultants, physicians, and trained staff present at all times. We have employed a new triage system, ESI (Emergency Severity Index) to prioritize all patients based upon their clinical needs, in order to attend to the most critical patient first. We provide education and training to public institutions training them in Basic Life Support and improving their emergency care.
